Always Take Your Camera

Folsom Photographer, William Foster | Pet portraits at the park

I take my camera everywhere, especially when we go to the park. A few days ago, there was a nice break in the weather, so we packed up the dog, the kids and went to the park to ease everyone’s “cabin fever”. The light in the winter is so low in the sky which makes for great photography. The light wispy clouds added to the photo I wanted to make. I put Toby up on the climbing tires with the Castle Park in the background. He kept wanting to jump down, but at just the right moment, from his high vantage point, he spotted another dog across the street. He held this pose for at least half a minute which was enough for me to grab 20 or 30 frames. Click the photo to see the full size version.
